Michael Goodwin: Count on Hillary to run in 2020 By Michael Goodwin Fox News October 22, 2018 This is beyond odd, but here goes. I rise to defend Hillary Clinton. She is under attack and this time, the long knives are wielded by members of her own clan. Suddenly, after two years of indulging Clinton’s blame games and pity parties, lefty pundits say she’s talking too much, she’s stuck in the past, she had her chance and she blew it. Vanity Fair, declaring that she “still hasn’t learned the lessons of #MeToo,” is furious that Clinton said her…

Ben Sasse continued his spat with conservative host Sean Hannity on Sunday, saying the Fox News star’s business model is bad for the next generation. He also put blame on MSNBC host Rachel Maddow for contributing to the problem of political tribalism, which he details in his new book, “Them: Why We Hate Each Other—and How to Heal.” “Both of them have the same basic business model, which is to try to intensify the political…

Bar Association gets complaint against Blasey Ford’s lawyers – WND WND October 19, 2018 When Christine Blasey Ford testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee that now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh assaulted her decades ago, she said she didn’t know that committee staffers had offered to meet her in California. That failure now is the subject of a complaint to the Board of Professional Responsibility in the District of Columbia against Ford lawyers Debra Katz, Lisa Banks and Michael Bromwich. Government watchdog Judicial Watch said it filed the complaint because the lawyers apparently failed to abide by a rule…
By Larry Klayman WND October 19, 2018 Last Wednesday, on behalf of “America’s Toughest Sheriff,” my friend and client Joe Arpaio, I filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against the New York Times and its editorial board member Michelle Cottle for defamation per se, tortious interference with prospective business advantage and false light. The complaint can be found at www.freedomwatchusa.org and was filed as part of Freedom Watch’s Leftist Media Strike Force, which seeks to hold the dishonest and unhinged “fake news” left and other irresponsible and lawless publications accountable to the rule…
Former Aide: It’s Possible Hillary Will Join 2020 Race By Jason Devaney Newsmax October 19, 2018 A former aide to Hillary Clinton said the chances of her running for president again are slim, but she shouldn’t be counted out to join the race. “It’s somewhere between highly unlikely and zero, but it’s not zero,” said Philippe Reines, who worked with Clinton while she was a senator and later when she served as secretary of state, during an interview with Politico. Continue Reading…..
By Jason Devaney Newsmax October 19, 2018 Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio told Newsmax TV the lawsuit he has filed against The New York Times is about doing the right thing for his reputation. Arpaio and his lawyer, Freedom Watch founder Larry Klayman, filed the libel suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Tuesday in the wake of an opinion piece the paper ran Aug. 29, accusing the 86-year-old Arpaio of being, among other things, “a truly sadistic man.” Continue Reading…..
How Do You Solve a Problem Like Hillary? By Annie Karni POLITICO Magazine October 19, 2018 In recent months, some reporters who cover the Trump White House have received phone calls from the last person they would expect: Hillary Clinton. The 2016 Democratic nominee has been rethinking her relationship with the press, among the many things she has been turning over—and over—in her head, acknowledging that her grouchy relationship with journalists was a problem. Now, she’s curious about the reporters covering Trump and has been putting out the occasional feeler. Continue Reading…..
‘Time to Shut It Down’: Fitton Calls on Congress to Bring Mueller in to Testify Fox News Insider October 18, 2018 As former top FBI lawyer James Baker testifies about the Russia investigation before Congress, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said he would like to see lawmakers focus more directly on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe and the “insipid corruption” behind it. Baker, who left the bureau earlier this year, is testifying before the House Judiciary Committee behind closed doors Thursday about the genesis of the FBI’s Russia case and about the surveillance warrant application for Trump campaign…
