Strictly Legal: Sheriff Joe Arpaio gets a lesson in press freedom By Jack Greiner Cincinnati.com November 14, 2019 Former Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio got some bad news recently in a defamation lawsuit against CNN, Rolling Stone magazine and the Huffington Post. The federal court in The District of Columbia dismissed the lawsuit because, in the court’s view, it failed to state a viable claim. The court’s discussion of Arpaio’s actual malice claim has particular relevance in today’s polarized political climate. During Arpaio’s tenure as Sheriff, he was sued over his office’s policing tactics in Latino neighborhoods.…

Napolitano appeared on the very pro-Trump Fox & Friends program and, after some rather predictable discourse following the first day of hearings, co-host Ainsley Earhardt tried to pour cold water on the quid pro…

In his lengthy opening statement on Wednesday, Taylor revealed for the first time that Trump’s interest in Ukraine investigating former Vice President Joe Biden and his son went even further than originally known. According to Taylor, U.S. Ambassador to…

The ruling pertains to products imported from settlements in the occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem and Golan Heights, all captured by Israel in the…
Republicans offered more participation in Trump impeachment inquiry than in Nixon’s, Judge Napolitano says By Charles Creitz Fox News November 13, 2019 Despite an outcry by some in the GOP, Republicans have largely been given more ability to participate in House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry into President Trump than the minority party has in the last two such proceedings, according to Judge Andrew Napolitano. During impeachment proceedings against ex-Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, data and initial testimony from witnesses was obtained in private and controlled largely by the majority party, Napolitano said Tuesday on “Your World.” “We saw…
