Years ago, at Freedom Watch, I obtained preliminary injunctions against the Obama NSA’s illegal mass surveillance of the American people—Klayman v. Obama was a landmark case that no one else won. The ACLU tried and failed. We succeeded after Edward Snowden confirmed what I alleged: blatant Fourth Amendment violations through dragnet spying. Although a final judgment was never entered—judges themselves were being surveilled—those injunctions and findings remain powerful precedent.
Fast forward to today: under Biden–Harris, the surveillance state has continued and expanded. We now know that peaceful January 6 protesters were illegally surveilled in violation of Section 702 of FISA, and that Republican U.S. Senators were also improperly wiretapped. This is the weaponization of government—against conservatives, against dissent, and against our constitutional liberties.
Freedom Watch will act—peacefully and lawfully. We are:
- Preparing hard-hitting lawsuits and citizens grand juries to seek redress and accountability;
- Moving to protect First and Fifth Amendment rights of peaceful protesters and targets of illegal spying;
