A few nights ago, I attended an event at Mar-a-Lago for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Foundation—a remarkable organization of federal, state, and ICE officers dedicated to protecting our country from criminals, terrorists, and lawlessness. I was honored to be there among real American heroes who risk their lives daily to defend our safety and our freedom.
At the event, I was given a jacket with the Foundation’s embroidered badge. The next day, I wore it while traveling, and what happened was both heartwarming and telling. Airline employees, travelers, and even people on the street came up to me to say, “Thank you for your service.” Though I’m not a police officer, I am, in effect, law enforcement through the work I’ve done with Judicial Watch and now Freedom Watch—defending the Constitution and the rule of law against corruption and tyranny.
What struck me most was how sincerely people expressed their gratitude. A baggage clerk waived my overweight fee, recognizing the badge. A supermarket cashier offered a discount. Even homeless men I passed showed respect and kindness. The message was clear: the American people overwhelmingly support law enforcement—contrary to the lies of the radical Left, which seeks to defund, demonize, and destroy those who keep our communities safe.
The Real America Still Respects the Badge
The false narrative from the Left—that police are fascists or oppressors—is collapsing. Americans have seen the chaos that follows when criminals are allowed to rule the streets. The surge in violent crime, the open borders, and the relentless attacks on our values have shown people what happens when law enforcement is undermined.
The dangerous Left doesn’t just want to destroy the police—they want to destroy you, me, and everyone who believes in the vision and creation of our Founding Fathers. That’s why we at Freedom Watch fight back daily, both in court and through our citizens’ grand juries, which hold criminals accountable when government agencies refuse to act.
We are at war—a peaceful and legal war—between those who believe in Judeo-Christian morality and law, and those who seek to replace it with moral chaos and political tyranny. The Left has started this war. The Right must finish it.
