Today, a Clinton-appointed federal judge, Cameron McGowan Currie of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, dismissed the criminal indictments of James Comey and Letitia James — the corrupt former FBI Director and New York Attorney General, respectively.
Currie claimed that the interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, Lindsey Halligan, was not lawfully appointed, and therefore could not pursue the indictments. That reasoning is nothing short of absurd. This was political protection for the corrupt elites, not a judicial ruling rooted in law. It is, to put it bluntly, complete nonsense — another example of why our justice system is now hopelessly compromised by partisan judges in black robes.
When Judges Protect the Criminal Class
Comey, who lied to Congress and triggered the Russian collusion witch hunt, and Letitia James, who orchestrated the unconstitutional persecution of President Donald J. Trump, have long evaded accountability. Their crimes are real, and their victims are the American people. Yet when our institutions are run by the political establishment, justice for the powerful becomes impossible.
That is why Freedom Watch will once again turn to the people — through our Citizens Grand Juries — to do what the government refuses to do. Under the precedent of United States v. Williams (1992), written by Justice Antonin Scalia, the grand jury belongs to the people — not to the corrupt three branches of government.
A New Citizens Grand Jury
We will be reactivating our Citizens Grand Juries to seek indictments against both Comey and James for their felony misconduct and abuse of power. These citizen jurors will hear the evidence, review the law, and issue lawful indictments. If indicted, the defendants will be given the opportunity to plead, face trial before a citizen judge and jury, and, if convicted, be sentenced accordingly.
