The left is not merely playing politics—it has weaponized the legal system against President Trump, his supporters, and anyone who stands up for our Constitution and Judeo-Christian values. The media now attacks President Trump for directing the Justice Department to investigate those who persecuted him during his first administration and continue to do so. But let’s be clear: the President is the head of the Executive Branch. He has the constitutional authority to order investigations and, where probable cause is found, prosecutions. Until the DOJ is made fully independent by law, that authority stands.
Why we must act now
For years, deep-state actors and partisan prosecutors—James Comey, Letitia James, Adam Schiff, and others—have used lawfare to cripple the America-First agenda. Inside the Beltway, bar disciplinary machines (especially in D.C.) are deployed to silence conservative and Republican activist lawyers so we can’t defend our interests in court. Enough. These are abuses of power, and abuses of power must be met with lawful accountability.
Freedom Watch’s plan of action
I urged strong action in the first administration. Now, it must happen—while protecting the country and the President from renewed attacks. Freedom Watch is:
- Filing hard-hitting civil and criminal actions where the evidence warrants it.
- Pursuing compensation for wrongfully prosecuted January 6 defendants who were peaceful and had their lives destroyed.
- Confronting state and local policies that target federal law enforcement (including ICE) while giving violent radicals a pass.
- Backing citizens grand juries to investigate and indict where government refuses—consistent with the Supreme Court’s recognition that the grand jury belongs to the People.
- Advancing legal reforms with allies like Rep. Nancy Mace to remove absolute immunity for judges and prosecutors who act in bad faith and to restore accountability to the bench and bar.
Citizens grand juries: the people’s tool
As Justice Antonin Scalia explained, the grand jury is not a creature of the three branches; it belongs to the People. Where captured institutions won’t police themselves, citizens grand juries can investigate, present evidence, and press for justice—peacefully and lawfully.
Partnering to restore the rule of law
Attorney General Pam Bondi and others are doing critical work inside the government, but the workload is massive and the opposition relentless. Freedom Watch will be the partner the country needs—bringing cases, building records, exposing corruption, and forcing accountability in the courts and before the People.
